Los Angeles, CA
Every day, we beat the odds and forge new ground.
Because O.I. is so rare, it can feel lonely, overwhelming, frustrating and become difficult to share and get what we need to thrive.
It’s time to get clear answers, gather useful resources, and make powerful connections; all from/with fellow O.I.ers and those who experience O.I. first-hand every day.
Celebrating O.I. Life is the first event of its kind.
A gathering of those who experience O.I. first-hand and the opportunity to celebrate, share and come together in power.
In this discussion based, round-table format, we will;
SHARE WHAT WORKS,
BE HEARD BY THOSE WHO UNDERSTAND,
CREATE NEW RELATIONSHIPS and
STRENGTHEN AND ENRICH OUR LIVES GOING FORWARD!
THIS IS A COLLABORATIVE EXPERIENCE.
We will speak, listen, ask, share, support and most of all HAVE FUN!

Hi, I am Tony Jacobsen, the author of Disable Your Disability, founder of the Fitness, Nutrition and Wellness group on Facebook, and fellow O.I.er (Type 1) and I’m beyond excited to bring this event to our community!
I’ve met many O.I.ers (and families) through my work in the community and I truly believe this day will give us a chance to get together like never before– to connect and share experiences and information in a powerful and thoughtful way.
I can’t wait to see all of you there and celebrate our O.I. LIfe.
